Our mill has proudly supported the equine and pet food industry since 1986, selling quality feed products throughout the state.

The Process
We source our raw materials from the best hay producers both in Tasmania and Victoria ensuring we supply consistent raw inredients to our premium grade products.
Using traditional steam cut methodology we produce quality chaff and other pet products with our team of experienced chaff techinicians.
The Property
Established in 1840, Leighton bread the first draft horses in Australia supplying horses to help develop Sydney and Melbourne.
Ever since, there have been horses on the property in one way. The farm was home to famous racehorse Sandhawk who was brought out from the UK and at the time wasthe most expensive sire to come to Australia.
Piping Lane was sired on the property and was the first Tasmanian horse to win a Melbourne Cup.
